Eligibility Criteria for DAAD-SEARCA Scholarship 2024:


  • The scholarship by DAAD and SEARCA is open to nationals of Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Timor Leste, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Applicants must not be more than 35 years old for Master’s Degree programs or 40 years old for PhD programs at the time of application.
  • Moreover, applicants must be a staff member of a public university. A candidate under consideration for teaching or research staff recruitment or be affiliated with the public sector.
  • Similarly, for the DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarships 2024, it is mandatory for the completion of the applicant’s last university degree to not exceed 6 years from the time of application.
