How to apply for Chinese Student Visa?

How to apply for Chinese Student Visa

In 2020, the Chinese government expects 500,000 overseas students to enrol in its higher education institutions, and it has taken efforts to ensure that all students, regardless of the length of their studies, would require a visa. The X1 and X2 visas are available to overseas students, depending on whether they will be in China for more than 180 days or fewer. We’ve made the procedure easier for you.

X2 Chinese Student Visas

An X2 visa is required for anybody planning to study in China for fewer than 180 days.

This is what you’ll require:

  • A valid passport for the duration of your stay in China.
  • The photocopy of the visa application form.
  • The original and photocopy of your admission letter from your Chinese university.

What will the cost of your Chinese Student Visa be?

A Chinese visa might cost anywhere between £ 20 and £ 100, depending on your place of residency. For additional information, contact your university or the Chinese Embassy’s website in your country.

Your university will assist you with your visa application. If you have any questions, always contact the international office.

Following your arrival in China, you must apply for a residence permit in person at the police station nearest to your house. This must be done every time your hosting provider changes.
