Jagiellonian University Summer School 2023 in Poland is open to students worldwide, including Polish students. The Jagiellonian University Summer School comprises five twelve-hour courses taught by esteemed professors at the University. The program is designed for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students with student status. The University also offers a winter school and covers all expenses for the participants.
There are two phases of summer school, Summer School I and Summer School II. The summer school for international students will take place from 3 July 2023 to 14 July 2023 in hybrid mode, allowing participants to participate virtually or on-site in Krakow. Students must choose three courses of six hours. Participants will receive a certificate confirming the student’s participation and attendance. Furthermore, Jagiellonian University offers scholarships for 50 participants attending summer school. The scholarship is offered for students applying for the on-site program. The opportunity will cover the cost of arrival and accommodation. However, the scholarship will be awarded to fifty participants only. Furthermore, there is no fee. The summer and winter schools are free of cost, and students don’t need to pay any registration or course charges.
The University aims to internationalize it in the area of education and research by implementing IMPK in the form of summer and winter schools and exchange programs for international students. It will help Jagiellonian University to become a leader in the relevant area and attract international students. The Jagiellonian University was established in 1364 and is the oldest University in Poland and one of the oldest in the world still in operation. The University is located in the heart of Kraków and is considered one of Poland’s most distinguished academic institutions. It has been instrumental in preserving Polish culture and contributing to Europe’s intellectual heritage.
The University comprises thirteen principal and three other faculties that form the Collegium Medicum. It has an academic staff of approximately 4,000 members and educates over 35,000 students across 166 fields of study. Although Polish is the primary language of instruction, the University offers approximately 30 degrees in English and some in German. So don’t worry; the summer school will be held entirely in the English language.

- You must hold a BA, MA, or Doctoral student status to be eligible.

Jagiellonian University Summer School Benefits
