The KU Leuven Scholarship 2024 duration is for one year. The Science@Leuven Fund will decide how much the scholarship amount will be, but at maximum, it can be up to 12,000 euros for one year. If a student gets a full scholarship of 12,000 euros, it is still advisable to bring some extra money to support their living costs in Belgium. Furthermore, most of the master programs of the Faculty of Science are two-year programs. The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Scholarship for the second master’s year will only be continued if the student has outstanding results in their first master’s year. Eligibility Criteria for the KU Leuven Scholarship 2024 in Europe:


  • The applicants must not have studied or worked at the University of Leuven before.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from a non-Belgian university, making them eligible for the master’s program they are applying for.
  • Must not have acquired a master’s degree or a PhD yet.
  • The applicants must prove excellent study results and outcomes during their former training.
  • Applicants must have a very strong knowledge of English (TOEFL with a minimum score of 94 or IELTS with a minimum score of 7 overall).
  • Must be willing to act as an ambassador for the program.
