Eligibility criteria of the NTU Scholarships 2024 in Taiwan:
- International students from all over the world are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree to apply for master’s degree programs and a master’s degree to apply for PhD degree programs.
- Applicants must meet the language proficiency requirement of the department they are applying to to be eligible for the National Taiwan University Scholarship.
- Furthermore, applicants must have excellent academic records to be eligible for this International graduate student scholarship by NTU.
Benefits of the National Taiwan University Scholarship 2024:
- Under the National Taiwan University Scholarship, international students will get a monthly stipend of NTD 8,000 (USD 267) for the master’s program.
- For PhD students of the College of Liberal Arts, Law, Management, and Social Science, the stipend will be NTD 10,000 (USD 333) and for the students of the College of Science, Engineering, Medicine, Bio-Resources & Agriculture, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Public Health, Life Science, the stipend will be NTD 15,000 (USD 500).
- Students will get a tuition fee waiver of up to NTD 65,000 (USD 2,167) for the first semester.
- For the second semester and onwards, scholars will receive a tuition fee waiver of up to NTD 65,000 (USD 2,167) per semester.
- An opportunity to study in Taiwan for free and explore the diverse culture of NTU.
