The Scuola Normale Superiore scholarships offers 75 PhD scholarships to both international students and Italian citizens over the course of four years. This scholarship covers tuition as well as a grant for board and lodging. All students will be eligible for additional funding for their research activities, including those conducted abroad.
Students who maintain a high academic standard and make significant progress in their thesis work are eligible for the Scuola Normale Superiore PhD scholarship. A place is reserved for candidates who have obtained a valid qualification for access to competition in foreign universities for each postgraduate course. All students will receive additional funding for their research activities, including those conducted abroad.

Eligibility Criteria for Scuola Normale Superiore PhD Scholarships
To qualify for Scuola Normale Superiore PhD Scholarships, candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:

- Eligible Countries: All PhD programs are open to both Italian citizens and students from outside Italy.
- Those who have obtained a master’s degree in Italy or an equivalent qualification in a non-Italian university by October 31, 2022;
