Financial Distress: Japanese Government to provide 100,000 yen to foreign and local students

The Japanese government has decided to pay 100,000 yen per person in order to support foreign students and Japanese students who have entered the country due to the relaxation of border measures and are in financial difficulty.

From the 1st of  March, the Japanese government has lifted border restrictions for the new Corona, allowing foreign students to enter the country. Now is the time for the government has decided to implement such a method into action.

Due to the new corona’s influence, one of the international students who will enter the country by the end of this month and are enrolled in universities, colleges, and other institutions might be in financial hardship since they are unable to find a part-time employment and earn revenue. The mechanism will be to  pay a ransom of  100,000 yen to individuals who are encountering these difficulty in finances.

Furthermore, the Japanese Government will accept applications for emergency benefits of 100,000 yen per person for Japanese students at universities, graduate schools, vocational schools, and other institutions who have been in a difficult condition as a result of a lengthy infection.

The application will be accepted and examined at each university, and payment will be made by the end of the month in each case.
